Think about it. You try everything to increase your page relevance and ranking in Google. Google has to take a composite view of the entire web as far as it can see to accurately evaluate your webpage search result relevance.

Guess what falls squarely in the middle of “The Entire Web?” (Refer to Line Number One for Answer)

Did you ever notice that if you are reading an email about dinner, adwords will serve you an ad about a local restaurant? How do you think they do that? They read your email. No, not in the big brother kinna way, they have spider bots that look for nouns and match them to the keywords their advertisers specify via adwords.

This is the darkest secret because nobody uses it. It’s not the most powerful or effective on the ranking criteria but it IS the most non-utilized.

How do you take advantage of this? How do you use this new found knowledge to get high in Google?

1. Simple, make your emails forward worthy.
2. Include a signature with the link you are pushing and the relevant keywords to introduce the link.
3. Set up an auto reply that does just that.

How do you prove that Google DOES spider your email? Since nobody seems to agree with me. Again, simple… Create a new domain name. Don’t link to it from anywhere.
