How to Get on Google Page One: “Short Tail”

As far as I’m concerned, there are no “long tail” keywords. SEO Experts advocate “long tail keywords” on the premise that since they are not good enough to get you into google’s page one on a popular and competitive high traffic keyword, they will get you into google’s page one under a low traffic and low competition term that stays locked on page one for a long time, hence, “long tail.”
Balderdash.
Low competition keywords will only bring you 1-3 clicks a WEEK. You cannot run any kind of marketing campaign on this pitiful trickle. Even high traffic keywords like “wireless internet,” only generates about 2,000 clicks a day. I know. I was #1 on page #1 for over a year. So go for several high traffic terms. How?
All you have to do is understand how the Google computer science PhDs think.
They are simply looking for credible sources that link to your url using the keyword term that your customer would search for. So basically, let’s say this was the fishing industry’s biggest blog. You own a bait and tackle shop in Seattle. You want my site to link to yours like this: Seattle bait and tackle, NOT like this: Check Out THIS Site.
Easy enough right?
Well the hard part is actually getting an industry dominant site to link to you. My process is simple. I don’t ask. I don’t beg. I don’t barter. I create a website that rapidly becomes an industry leader. Then I can add my own links as I damn well please. See http://jbni.us/forum … You’ll notice that if you google the link terms like “herbs for PMS” the urls I link to do infact show up page one for that term.
Here’s the biggest bonus trade secret. I only link to Youtube videos. Why? Google owns Youtube. They are trying like Alaskan Malamutes to make youtube profitable. You’ll get a leg up. Take it.
